Distinct Value of Southwest Center
- Southwest Center is Arizona's oldest and largest comprehensive nonprofit HIV/AIDS service organization providing the most comprehensive HIV/AIDS research, prevention and support services. We partner with Hispanic, Black and Native American service agencies to extend our reach into diverse communities.
- Southwest Center serves 70 percent of the state's HIV/AIDS population in metro Phoenix - the fifth-largest U.S. city. We provide Education and Prevention services to more than 25,000. We provide Wellness services to 1,200 people. We contribute to Clinical Trials research, serving 110 patients in 24 active studies.
- We provide needed, trusted leadership within the GLBT community as evidenced by the 2006 bond election.
- We are experts at providing HIV/AIDS prevention, wellness and research support services.

Newly Diagnosed: We provide a first-response intervention of Help and Hope.
Support and education for long-term chronic survivors.
