The Elizabeth Taylor Film Festival January 22 - 24

Harkins Theatre at Christown Mall Chaired by Vice Mayor Tom Simplot and Tom Betz, The Elizabeth Taylor Film Festival will be a weekend long event with a kick-off VIP reception and silent auction at 5:30 pm on Friday the 22nd, followed by two days of Elizabeth Taylor films being shown at Harkins Christown. Tickets to the VIP Reception are limited, and available for purchase by phone only at 602.307.5330 ext. 2242. Individual movie tickets can be purchased at Harkins Christown on Saturday and Sunday.

The John Brooks Tour for Life presented by LUXE Magazine March 7, 2010

Join John Brooks and LUXE magazine for the 2010 Tour for Life co-chaired by Scott Burdick of Wiseman and Gale and Berkley Vallone of Vallone Designs. This year's home tour will feature a collection of notable homes featuring some of the Valley's most reputable designers and architects. An annual event, Tour for Life, is a self guided tour that showcases homes in and around the Phoenix area. Tickets are $75 each and will go on sale late January.

Dining Out for Life April 29, 2010 Metro Phoenix and Northern Arizona

On Thursday, April 29, led by chair, Gilbert Gamboa, Valley restaurants will participate in a one-day event when restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds to benefit programs and services at Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS including clinical trials, prevention and wellness programs for teens, men and women.

Across the United States, more than 3,500 restaurants in 55 major cities will donate a generous percent of daily proceeds to a local AIDS service provider. Money raised in each city stays in that city.

Participating restaurants will be listed at www.swhiv.org as well as on the national Dining Out For Life web site, www.diningoutforlife.com. Check back frequently for updates.

RED is the Night: 15th Annual Night for Life Gala May 8, 2010 The Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa

In 2010, the annual Night for Life Gala, Southwest Center's largest fundraiser, will celebrate fifteen years at RED is the Night. Join Southwest Center and co-chairs, Dr. Joel and Libby Cohen and Walt Danley and Chuck Wasson, on Mother's Day weekend at The Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa to Renew, Engage, and Dedicate yourself to ending HIV/AIDS in Arizona. New this year, an exciting and sensational late-night casino cabaret will follow the traditional gala dinner and program. Individual tickets for the evening program are $350, and tables start at $3,500. Corporate sponsorships are also available. Late-night casino cabaret tickets start at $100 each.
