Kids for Life is an educational musical experience created by the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS that teaches life lessons about diversity, making healthy choices, tolerance, and respect through the music. Two concerts will be performed in a "kid friendly" atmosphere. The first concert provides school children identified as "at risk" in our community an experiential learning opportunity through music and a curriculum taught in the classroom. On Friday, September 28, 2007 students will be transported to the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts to experience a live performance starring Tom Chapin. The second concert will be held the following day on Saturday September 29 at 2 p.m. and tickets will be sold to the general public.
