Targeted Outreach

The focus of targeted outreach is to identify and contact individuals who are considered at high risk for contracting HIV, determining their HIV status, assessing need and referring them to medical services. Funding for the Targeted Outreach Program is provided through a grant from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, HIV/AIDS Bureau, Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act, Part A.

The Targeted Outreach team of specialists seeks to contact HIV positive individuals or those whose status is unknown but at high risk for HIV, through one-on-one conversations and group presentations at various venues, including but not limited to bars, outreach programs and street outreach. If you or someone you know is HIV positive or at high risk and not currently receiving medical services, please contact the Targeted Outreach team at (602) 307-5330, ext. 2337. If you do not have a telephone, please leave a number where you can receive messages. This outreach program is always free and confidential.
