The Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS has designed programs specifically directed toward Valley youth. According to the State, youth are at a heightened risk for becoming infected as compared to other age groups. Programs provide youth with the tools to make constructive life decisions and empower them with the knowledge to help their peers do the same. Programs include the Positive Peer Program (P3), the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) and FUSION.
