Positive Peer Prevention

Want to make a Difference in your life and the lives of your friends and others? Get involved with the Positive Peer Prevention (P3) program.

Teens educating teens about the prevention of HIV/AIDS and STIs. Here are the benefits:

  • Accurate education about HIV/AIDS and STIs
  • Public speaking skills

  • Negotiation and decision making skills
  • Helping people by making a difference in someone's life

This is a fun and positive experience that will impact the rest of your life.

Did you know?

  • At least half of all new HIV infections in the United States are among people under 25.
  • An estimated eight million cases of STIs other than HIV are diagnosed annually in the US are among people under the age of 25.
  • 9.8 percent of Arizona high school seniors said they have been forced to have sex when they didn't want to do so.
  • Arizona youth are more likely to have used drugs or alcohol before having sex and are less likely to use condoms when having sex.
  • Arizona is ranked second in the nation for teen pregnancy.

P3 is the right program for youth who want to…
