A community collaboration, the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS is collaborating with Native Health and 1N10 (pronounce "one in ten) to offer a this program which targets two key populations – MSM youth of color and transgender youth of color 14-24 – who are living in Maricopa County. YEP uses the MPowerment model to create an environment that allows the targeted group to create social, interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships and helps to build community among the target population.

The program is located in a house in the center of the "gay zone" of Phoenix and offers educational, social and community building activities throughout the year. The house is open in the evenings and on weekends to provide a space for the men to study, socialize, hang out or just get to a comfortable space.
